Over the past 10 months, ALYA Hub has evolved from tools to a sophisticated automation platform. This article chronicles the journey since our last article.
Before January 2025
❌ Budgets scattered across Excel files, Google Sheets, platform interfaces
❌ Manual reconciliation of spend across platforms
❌ No real-time visibility into pacing
❌ Campaign duplication required manual data entry
❌ Team collaboration meant emailing spreadsheets back and forth
End of year 2025
✅ Single source of truth for all campaign budgets
✅ Real-time spend tracking across all platforms
✅ Instant pacing analysis with visual alerts
✅ One-click campaign duplication
✅ Collaborative workspace with role-based access
✅ Export to Google Sheets for custom analysis while maintaining source of truth
January – February 2025
This release marked our transition from a data display tool to an intelligent budget management system.
1. Budget Summary & Missing Budget Detection
Visual alerts for missing budgets directly in the interface. Instead of discovering funding gaps during campaign launch, marketers now spotted discrepancies proactively.
2. Right-Click Shortcuts for Bulk Actions
Efficiency breakthrough: right-click any selected row to access Bulk Edit and Duplicate actions. No menu navigation required.
3. Enhanced Bulk Operations (when editing multiple campaigns simultaneously)
- See the number of rows selected
- Live total budget calculation within the modal
- Full visibility before applying changes prevents costly mistakes.
4. On-the-Fly Platform ID Creation
- Previously: Navigate away from budget pacing to add Platform IDs in Settings
- Now: Create new Platform IDs directly within the budget interface
- Result: Smoother workflow, fewer context switches
5. Cache-Based Performance Optimization
- Faster loading times
- More seamless navigation
- Reduced API calls to advertising platforms
- Improved reliability during high-traffic periods
6. HubSheets: Export with Flexibility
The game-changer for advanced analysis. Securely extract budget data in multiple views, then import directly into Google Sheets for:
- Custom reporting
- Advanced formulas and pivot tables
- Team collaboration
- Executive presentations
March – July 2025
Tag System Implementation
- Campaign tagging for organization and filtering
- Advertiser tags for quick identification
- Tag-based budget allocation and tracking
- Visual tag indicators in budget tables
Smart Campaign Management
- Automatic campaign creation based on target budget thresholds
- Tag-driven campaign suggestions
- Duplicate detection to prevent accidental budget allocation errors
- Threshold-based alerts and automation
August – October 2025
This period, the evolution of ALYA Hub’s budget pacing wasn’t just about features, it was about building robust, scalable architecture, and API resilience.
- Asynchronous Processing
- Alerts : overspends, underspends, unmatched budgets
- Multiple quality of life updates
- Early budget tracking could take minutes to load. By implementing async processing, we reduced loading times by 85%+ for large datasets.
Looking Forward
Budget pacing might seem like a commodity feature, every ad platform has budget controls. But ALYA Hub’s approach is fundamentally different:
We don’t just track budgets. We centralize them. We make them intelligent. We make them collaborative.
Here’s where we hope to go going forward
✅ Natural language budget duplication
✅ AI knows what the advertiser and campaign is about
✅ Analyzes your actual budget data (not generic advice)
✅ Gives platform-specific recommendations
Special thanks to all the users providing valuable feedback!
